Results typically last 12–18 months depending on skin type and aftercare.

Ombre Brows

Ombre brows create a soft, powdered makeup effect that gradually fades from lighter at the front to more defined toward the tail. This technique is perfect for clients who prefer a fuller, more polished brow or who have oily or mature skin. Ombre brows heal beautifully and tend to last longer than microblading alone.

Combination Brows

How to Prep for Your Waxing Appointment

Waxing is one of the best ways to stay smooth longer, but a little prep goes a long way. Here’s how to get the best results (and the least discomfort).

1. Let It Grow
Your hair needs to be about ¼ inch long for wax to grip properly. For most people, that’s about 3–4 weeks of growth. Too short = not effective. Too long = more uncomfortable. Timing matters!

2. Don’t Wait Too Long
Staying on a consistent waxing schedule helps hair grow in evenly, making each appointment quicker and easier. Most clients do best coming in every 3–4 weeks.

3. Prep Your Skin
Moisturize your skin regularly, but avoid heavy lotions or oils the day of your appointment. If you use active skincare (like retinol, acids, or prescription products), stop use a few days beforehand—especially for facial waxing.

4. Exfoliate (Gently!)
Light exfoliation a day or two before your appointment helps prevent ingrowns and allows the wax to grab hair more easily. A soft scrub or washcloth works great—no harsh scrubbing needed.

5. Don’t Stress About the Awkwardness
You’re not the first and you definitely won’t be the last. This is what I do all day, every day. As long as you’re clean and comfortable, you’re good to go.

6. About the Pain…
Waxing isn’t totally painless, but it’s quick and very manageable. Many clients say it’s easier than they expected. If needed, you can take an over-the-counter pain reliever about 30 minutes before your appointment, or simply focus on slow, steady breathing—it really helps.

After gaining experience in various Bay Area salons, I fulfilled my dream by opening my own salon in 2017 right here in Pleasant Hill, where I grew up.
